Freedman professionals join Shapiro Cohen LLP

We are very excited to announce that as of November 1, 2014 the professionals of the Freedman patent and trademark firm in Ottawa have joined Shapiro Cohen LLP and we welcome Gordon Freedman as our newest colleague.

Gordon Freedman is an entrepreneur, lawyer and patent and trademark agent and holds a degree in computer and systems engineering. He has counselled high technology businesses on IP and business matters for many years and has very long and extensive experience in providing tactical advice on various options for IP protection and in the drafting of originating patent applications for filing in the USA and Canada.
Gordon joins Shapiro Cohen LLP with his colleagues, patent agent Mark Weir, Ph.D. Chem and trademark agent Kerry Biggs, B.A.
